general practice services. We are located in the southern suburbs of Sydney.

The word "Miranda" is derived from the Latin word miror, mirare, miravi,
miratus. "Mirare" means "to admire", making Miranda "something
admirable", "worthy of admiration", "something to admire".

After Hours Service
Our doctors serve on a roster system with Kareena After Hours Medical
Service:
This service is open from 7.00pm until 10.30pm Monday - Friday
1.00pm until 10.00pm Saturday
9.00am until 10.00pm Sunday and public holidays.
Kareena Hospital also operates a 24 hour Accident and Emergency
Department.
Note: The Emergency Department charges a fee, please check when phoning.
The Casualty Department at Sutherland Hospital, phone 9540
7111 is open 24 hours and can be contacted for urgent problems.
In the case of chest pain or other life threatening emergencies,
please phone for an ambulance on 000.

Our after hours deputising service is a professional service by
doctors for doctors. For more information please go to the link
They are available weeknights 7.00pm to 6.00am, weekends from noon
Saturday to 6.00am Monday and Public Holidays from 7.00am to 6.00am the
following morning.
