About the practice

Miranda Family Practice is a fully accredited group practice offering a full range of general practice services. We have been serving the Sutherland Shire community for over 22 years.

This practice follows the "Code of Practice for the Management of Health Information in Medical Practices" developed by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. This means that your personal health information is kept private and secure. The approach used in Code is consistent with the provisions of Federal and State Privacy Legislation. The practice has a written policy on personal health information – this policy is available to all patients to read.

Quality Practice Accreditation

All Australian general practices and after hours services must adequately meet the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Standards for General Practice to maintain a current accreditation status with the Quality Practice Accreditation.

We are currently accredited based on the most recent 5th edition of the RACGP Standards for General Practices.

Accessing Your Health Record held at Miranda Family Practice

If you wish to have a copy of your record for any reason please make an appointment to discuss this with your Doctor. If you wish to transfer your record from this practice to another, we request you ask your new practice for a transfer of records form.
