Consultation fees as from August 4, 2025
We will charge a gap fee to all patients except:
- Children under 10 years old
- DVA gold card, DVA white card – for approved conditions
- Closing The Gap patients who have a valid Commonwealth concession card
We will continue to provide a discounted fee to pensioners and Commonwealth concession card holders.

MMR - MyMedicare Registered patients
All Saturday Consultations for Face to Face and Telehealth – will be privately billed the full fee for ALL patients, irrespective of their age or concession card status – excluding treatment room, gold DVA and CTG with valid concession card.
Skin Checks by Dr John Farrow – privately billed for all patients, except DVA gold card.

GP management plans and health assessments for over 75's will continue to be bulk billed, as will annual flu, covid and other government recommended age appropriate vaccines.
A private fee may be charged for a carers certificate for a sick child if the child is not seen at the Practice - irrespective of the child's age.
Fees are payable on the day of service. Payment can be made by Cash or EFTPOS.
Patients may be charged a cancellation/no show fee if an appointment is not attended or cancelled without appropriate notice.
Medicare and online claiming
We lodge your private receipted account direct to Medicare after payment. Medicare will deposit your rebate into the bank account you have registered with them.
Following up on your test results
In order to maintain patient confidentiality and to avoid misunderstandings and in the interest of good medicine, our receptionists do not give out results over the telephone. Your doctor will inform you when your results will be available so that you can make an appointment to discuss them and plan further treatment if necessary. Pregnancy tests and INR test results will be available over the telephone.
